By accessing this website, submitting an enquiry, booking an appointment or engaging in services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or book services through it.

1. Nature of Services

The practice provides psychological and counselling-related services, which may include:
  •       Individual counselling/therapy
  •       Child and adolescent counselling
  •       Parent counselling
  •       Career guidance and student counselling
  •       Couple and relationship counselling
  •       Psychological guidance and related services
The specific services available may change from time to time. Information provided on this website is intended to describe the services generally and does not constitute a diagnosis, medical opinion or guarantee of any particular outcome.

2. Counselling Is Not an Emergency Service

Counselling services provided through this practice are not intended to replace emergency medical or psychiatric services. If you or another person is in immediate danger or requires urgent medical or psychiatric assistance, please contact the appropriate emergency service or visit the nearest emergency medical facility. Do not rely on website forms, email or appointment requests for urgent or emergency assistance.

3. Appointment Booking

Appointments may be requested through the booking facility available on the website. The submission of an appointment request does not necessarily mean that an appointment has been confirmed. An appointment will be considered confirmed only after confirmation from the practice or through the applicable booking system. You are responsible for providing accurate contact and appointment information.

4. Rescheduling and Cancellation

Appointments once booked cannot be cancelled. However, you may request to reschedule your appointment by providing at least 2 days’ prior notice of the scheduled appointment date. Requests for rescheduling made less than 2 days before the scheduled appointment will not be considered, and the appointment will remain as originally scheduled. In exceptional cases where cancellation is requested after an appointment has been booked, 20% of the total appointment fee will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded, subject to the applicable payment and refund process.

5. Fees and Payments

Fees for counselling and other services will be communicated before or at the time of booking. Where online payment is available, payment may be processed through a third-party payment provider. The practice reserves the right to update service fees from time to time. Changes will not ordinarily affect appointments that have already been confirmed unless otherwise communicated.

6. Online Counselling

Where counselling is provided through online or digital communication platforms, you acknowledge that:
  • Internet connectivity may affect the quality or continuity of sessions.
  • Technical failures may occur.
  • You are responsible for arranging a private and reasonably secure environment for your session.
  • You should avoid participating in a session from a public or unsafe location.
  • You should not record a session without prior consent.
  • Confidentiality may be affected by the security or privacy practices of third-party communication platforms.
Reasonable measures will be taken to maintain professional confidentiality; however, complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in relation to risks inherent in electronic communication.

7. Professional Boundaries and Communication

Communication outside scheduled sessions should generally be limited to appointment coordination, administrative matters and other appropriate professional purposes. Email, text messages, messaging applications and social media should not be considered substitutes for counselling sessions. Information sent through electronic communication may not receive an immediate response.

8. Confidentiality

Confidentiality is an essential part of counselling. Information shared during professional sessions will generally be treated as confidential, subject to applicable law, professional standards and the limits of confidentiality described in the Privacy Policy. Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required or permitted by law or where there is a serious and immediate concern regarding safety or the welfare of an individual, including a child or vulnerable person. The applicable limits of confidentiality will be discussed as appropriate during the professional relationship.

9. Children and Adolescents

Where services are provided to children or adolescents, consent and involvement of parents, guardians or legally authorised persons may be required depending on the individual’s age, circumstances and applicable law. The boundaries of confidentiality will be explained appropriately to the young person and relevant parent/guardian.

10. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Psychological counselling is a collaborative process, and outcomes can vary between individuals. While professional care will be provided with reasonable skill and diligence, no specific therapeutic, psychological, academic, career or personal outcome can be guaranteed.
